Data Breach Alert: ServiceTitan, Inc.

About ServiceTitan, Inc.

ServiceTitan, Inc., a commercial entity based in Glendale, CA, experienced a data breach affecting 36 individuals, including 3 residents from Maine. The breach occurred between August 8, 2025, and August 18, 2025, and was discovered on October 10, 2025. The breach involved unauthorized access to an external system, specifically through hacking, compromising sensitive information such as names and payment card details.

What Happened

ServiceTitan was recently informed by Salesforce, the provider of a software platform used by ServiceTitan to store customer information, that the platform was subject to unauthorized access on August 22, 2025. The unauthorized access was strictly isolated to the third-party Salesforce platform, stemming from a security incident involving Salesloft Drift integrations. Upon learning of this, ServiceTitan immediately launched an investigation to determine what data may have been impacted. On October 10, 2025, ServiceTitan finalized this review and determined that information related to you could have been impacted. To date, we have seen no evidence of any fraudulent use of any data as a result of this event.

The breach, affecting customers’ names and payment card information, was isolated to the Salesforce platform. Discovered on October 10, 2025, it potentially impacted individuals’ personal data, though no fraudulent use has been reported.

Next Steps

Affected users are advised to remain vigilant against identity theft and fraud by monitoring account statements and credit reports for suspicious activities. ServiceTitan has notified the relevant state regulators and credit reporting agencies about the breach. Users are encouraged to place fraud alerts or credit freezes on their credit files to protect against unauthorized credit activities. Additionally, users should report any suspicious activities to law enforcement and the Federal Trade Commission.

Identity Theft Protection Services

ServiceTitan has partnered with IDX to offer 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services to those impacted by the breach. The service includes Cyberscan Monitoring, which individuals must activate themselves using the provided enrollment code. This service helps monitor any suspicious activities and provides assistance if fraudulent activities are detected. Impacted users are advised to take advantage of these services to safeguard against potential identity theft.
